Responsive Ads
Ad units that automatically adjust their size and format to fit the available space on any screen.
Responsive ads automatically resize to fill the available ad slot on any device or screen size. Instead of specifying a fixed ad size (like 728x90), a responsive ad unit evaluates the container's width and serves the best-performing ad format that fits — it might show a 728x90 leaderboard on desktop, a 320x50 banner on mobile, or a 300x250 rectangle in a narrow column.
For publishers, responsive ads simplify implementation (one ad tag works everywhere) and can improve revenue by always serving the optimal format. To prevent CLS (layout shift), set a minimum height on your responsive ad containers so the page reserves space before the ad determines its final size.
