Your Data, Your Control
What Data We Store
AdGateScore stores: your account information (email, name — provided via Clerk authentication), your scan results and history, your subscription and billing information (managed via Stripe), and your site preferences and settings. We don't store your website's content — scans analyze pages in real time and store only the resulting scores and metrics.
Requesting Your Data
Under GDPR and CCPA, you have the right to request a copy of all data we hold about you. To request a data export, contact us with the subject line "Data Export Request" from the email address associated with your account. We'll provide your data within 30 days.
Deleting Your Account
To delete your account and all associated data:
- First, cancel any active subscriptions from your Account page → Billing section
- Then contact us with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" from your registered email
- We'll confirm the deletion within 7 business days
Account deletion is permanent. All scan history, scores, directory listings, and account settings will be removed. Active subscriptions must be cancelled before deletion — we can't process refunds after account data is deleted.
Data Retention
Scan results are retained for the lifetime of your account. If you cancel your subscription but keep your account, your scan history remains accessible on the free plan. Anonymous scan data (without identifying information) may be retained in aggregate for improving our scoring algorithms.
